Rope Rescue Operator Instructor (RROI)
The Rope Rescue Operator Instructor (RROI) course will enable tuition of those who operate safely and effectively during rope rescues, as an active part of a rope rescue team, working under the supervision of Rope Rescue Technician.
Prerequisites
- Current Rope Rescue Operator (RRO)
- Current Rope Rescue Technician (RRT)
- EMT, Wilderness First Responder (WFR), or equivalent workplace emergency medical certification
Instructor training & assessment
- RROI course (24 hours) or,
- Observe, assist & be assessed by InsWR-IT and /or as agreed upon with Northwest Rescue’s International Office
Qualification valid for
2 years
