Boats for Emergency Services
Powered boat operations in high energy river or flood environments can be the highest risk work that emergency service personnel will do. It is crucial not to cut corners on the quality and breadth of the training. Northwest Rescue instructors are some of the most experienced boat operators around, and we ensure that courses are delivered to an appropriate training level to exactly match your needs, be it basic boat handling, operating in low-energy flood water, or right up to high-energy swiftwater. The courses cover both boat handling and rescue techniques in a range of environments, from basic boat handling on still water, through the unique challenges of working in floodwater in urban environments, right up to the significant technical skills required in high-energy swiftwater. All courses can be linked modularly to ensure the right level of training for your personnel.
