Animal Rescue Technician Instructor (ARTI)
The Animal Rescue Technician Instructor pathway is designed for those wishing to teach Northwest Rescue’s Animal Rescue Technician (ART) courses.
Prerequisites
- Animal Rescue Technician 1 (ART1) twice
- Animal Rescue Technician 2 (ART2)
- Swiftwater Rescue Technician (SRT)
- Professional Qualification Assessment Water & Rope (PQWR)
- Confined Space Awareness (CSA)
- Hazmat Awareness
- EMT or Wilderness First Responder (WFR)
Instructor training & assessment
Observe, assist & be assessed by ART-IT and/or as agreed upon with Northwest Rescue’s International Office
Qualification valid for
2 years
Able to teach
Animal Rescue Technician 1 Instructor (ART1I)
Animal Rescue Technician 2 Instructor (ART2I)
