Technical Rope Rescue
Operations Level Instructor (TRROLI)
The Technical Rope Rescue Operations Level Instructor pathway is designed for those in the emergency services wishing to teach personnel to operate safely and effectively during rope rescues, as an active part of a rope rescue team, working under the supervision of Rope Rescue Technicians.
Prerequisites
- Technical Rope Rescue Operations Level (TRROL) at least twice
- Technical Rope Rescue Technician Level (TRRTL)
- EMT or Wilderness First Responder (WFR)
Instructor training & assessment
- Instructor: Rope (InsR) course (24 hours) or
- Observe, assist & be assessed by InsWR-IT and/or as agreed upon with Northwest Rescue’s International Office
Qualification valid for
2 years
Able to teach
First Due Low Angle (FDLA)
