Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technician Instructor (SRTI)
The Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technician Instructor (SRTI) pathway is designed for teaching personnel with a swiftwater and flood capability up to Technician level.
Prerequisites
- Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technician (SRT) (24 hours) at least twice
- Swiftwater & Flood Rescue Technician Advanced (SRTA) (24 hours)
- EMT or Wilderness First Responder (WFR)
Instructor training & assessment
- Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technician Instructor course (24 hours)
Qualification valid for
2 years

- Co-Worker Rescue from Water – Basic and Moving (CWRWBM)
- Flood Worker Safety (FWS)
- Flood Operations (FO)
- Rope Rescue Specialist (RRS)
