The Rope Rescue Specialist Instructor (RRTS) course builds on the Rope Rescue Technician Instructor course, enabling the tuition of advanced technical solutions to rope rescue problems.

Prerequisites

• Current Rope Rescue Technician Instructor (RRTI)
• Current Rope Rescue Specialist (RRS)
• EMT, Wilderness First Responder (WFR), or equivalent workplace emergency medical certification

Instructor training & assessment

Observe, assist & be assessed by Rope-IT and/or as agreed upon with Northwest Rescue’s International Office

Qualification valid for

2 years

• Rope Access for Emergency Responders (RAFER)
