Rope Specialty Course Recertification

Courses that fall in the Rope Specialty Course category may be recertified one of two ways:

• By retaking the same course or one at a higher level
• By maintaining a current TRRTL certification through recerting the TRR or taking other higher level specialty courses.

By maintaining your certifications you will be eligible for updates and to take the course at recertification prices. However, Northwest Rescue still highly suggests that students maintain knowledge of industry best practice in each discipline either by retaking each course periodically or through other means, such as actively working in that particular discipline.

Courses in this category include:

• Animal Rescue Technician 1 (ARTech1)
• Animal Rescue Technician 2 (ARTech2)
• Rope Access for Emergency Responders (RAFER)
• Wind Turbine Access for Emergency Responders (WTAFER)
• Tower Rescue for Emergency Responders (TWR)
