Rope Access Safety and
Rescue Instructor (RASRI)
The Rope Access Safety and Rescue Instructor may teach personnel the basics of rope access and rescue techniques.
Prerequisites
- Rope Access Safety and Rescue (RASR)
- Industrial Rope Rescue Technician (IRRT) or Rope Access for Emergency Responders (RAFER)
- Wilderness First Responder (WFR), EMT, or equivalent workplace emergency medical certification
Instructor training & assessment
Observe, assist & be assessed by IRRT-IT and/or as agreed upon with Northwest Rescue’s International Office
Qualification valid for
2 years
Able to teach
Safe Work at Heights (SWAH)
Co-Worker Rescue at Heights (CWRH)
Rope Access Safety and Rescue (RASR)
