Industrial Rope Rescue Technician Instructor (IRRTI)

The Industrial Rope Rescue Instructor pathway is for candidates wishing to teach Northwest Rescue’s full suite of Rope Access courses.

Prerequisites

• Industrial Rope Rescue Technician (IRRT)
• Wilderness First Responder (WFR), EMT, or equivalent workplace emergency medical certification

Instructor training & assessment

Observe, assist & be assessed by IRRT-IT and/or as agreed upon with Northwest Rescue’s International Office

Qualification valid for

2 years

Able to teach

Safe Work at Heights (SWAH)
Co-Worker Rescue at Heights (CWRH)
Rope Access for Emergency Responders (RAFER)
Rope Access Safety and Rescue (RASR)
