First Due Low Angle (FDLA)
Designed with a focus on the fire service, the course equips first due engine & rescue crews with the basic skills required to safely and efficiently conduct patient access and extraction during low complexity, vehicle over the embankment rescues.
Central to the course is the introduction of the latest in proven international and industrial tools & practices, offering significant efficiencies in instruction time, field deployment times and student retention.
Due to the narrow focus, students completing the course will not possess many of the knowledge and skill sets associated with general rope rescue.
