Confined Space Rescue Operator Instructor (CSROI)
The Confined Space Rescue Operator Instructor course covers the teaching of concepts and techniques to enable small teams to undertake technical confined space rescues.
Prerequisites
- Current Confined Space Rescue Technician (CSRT)
- Confined Space Rescue Operator (CSRO)
- Documented experience working in confined spaces
- Wilderness First Responder (WFR), EMT, or equivalent workplace emergency medical certification
Instructor training & assessment
Observe, assist & be assessed by CSR-IT and/or as agreed upon with Northwest Rescue’s International Office
Qualification valid for
2 years
Able to teach
Safe Working in Confined Space (SWCS)
Confined Space Entry and Rescue (CSER)
Confined Space Rescue Operator (CSRO)
Basic Air Monitoring (BAM)
Air Monitoring Qualified Person (AMQP)
