Air Monitoring Instructor (AMI)

The Air Monitoring Instructor course enables the Instructor to teach the gas detection courses.

Prerequisites

• Air Monitoring Qualified Person (AMQP)
• Confined Space Rescue Technician (CSRT)
• Wilderness First Responder (WFR), EMT, or equivalent workplace emergency medical certification

Instructor training & assessment

Observe, assist & be assessed by CSRT-IT and/or as agreed upon with Northwest Rescue’s International Office

Qualification valid for

2 years

Able to teach

Basic Air Monitoring (BAM)
Air Monitoring Qualified Person (AMQP)
